Introducing our new chairperson

Tricia McCarron

Married and lives with her husband, Garth and 7 dogs at Ash Tree Farm in Tilney All Saints. She was born in Runcton Holme and lived for many years in Stow Bridge. She attended school in Downham Market, and college in King’s Lynn. She has worked in Human Resources for almost 30 years and is currently HR Director for Worldwide Fruit, a large fruit supplier, based in Spalding. Whilst researching her family tree, which revealed a maternal link with the North End fishing industry, she was asked by Dr Paul Richards to become a trustee of True’s Yard museum. She has been actively involved for 6 years and takes part in fundraising, general governance and doing historical talks to local groups. She also has links with Tilney All Saints as her Great, Great Grandmother, Martha Minns, came from the village and her Great- Grandparents, Rosa Whitehead and John Smith Sampher were married at the church in 1906.
