Tilney All Saints History Group AGM 2016

If you're thinking of a visit to Norfolk in 2016 you may want to book in May!

The Local History Group will be holding its tenth AGM on Saturday 14 May 2016, at 11 am.

The venue will be the VILLAGE HALL.

There will be the short AGM to report on the activities of the Group over the past year and to elect the Executive Committee, followed by a talk.

The SPEAKER will be Clare Bradshaw, Norfolk Community Archaeologist.  She has helped the Group greatly in its archaeological ventures and her talks are very interesting and informative.

There is always a friendly welcome to all members, friends and visitors.

Refreshments will be served at the end of the meeting, at no charge, giving everyone a chance to mingle and swap stories.

Please Note

A local history group is an ongoing project and although we have a number of photographs, we would welcome more, so now would be a good time to:

· go hunting in your albums, cupboards or attics.

· talk to family members who may have photos of Tilney All Saints tucked away somewhere.

· write whatever you remember about the photos on the back (with a SOFT pencil), such as names, places, dates.

· get in touch with us.

If you bring them to the AGM we could scan them there and then, and obtain your descriptions.

If you know you can't make it to the AGM, but would like to help with our photo collection, we would be pleased to visit you or you could send the photos to us and we would scan them and then return the originals to you.
